New requirements for completing the “Payment Details” field in Uzbek Soums payment orders
Effective 6 May 2026, the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan is introducing mandatory requirements for the execution of payment orders in Uzbek soums.
In this regard, the directory of goods and services codes used to indicate the purpose of payment is being updated.
Please note that the following details must be provided in the “Payment Details” field:
- The current code of the goods or services corresponding to the purpose of payment (in accordance with the updated directory);
- Contract number and date (where applicable);
- Name of the goods, works or services;
- Type of payment, as well as any other necessary information.
Transition Period:
- From06.05.2026 — new codes come into force.
- From 26.05.2026 — old codes will no longer be accepted by the system.
To ensure a smooth transition, please refer to a comparative transition table that clearly shows the correspondence between the old and new codes.
Where to find the comparative transition table:
- In the Internet Banking system iDBA → section “Agreements and Forms” → “Instructions” → “Codes of Goods and Services”;
- On the official website of the Bank: www.kdb.uz → “Interactive Services” → “Sample Forms”.
It is kindly recommended that you begin using the new codes (or verify them against the transition table) when preparing payment orders in Uzbek soums already at this stage. This will help avoid any delays or rejection of your payments.
